A few months back I went through a superb virtual tasting session with Katie Dickieson, winemaker at Peller Estates.
One of my favourites that day was the Private Reserve Merlot, a most accomplished and polished wine that impressed me a great deal, especially at such an approachable price point, as it seriously punches above its weight.
There’s still some of 2018 lurking around in the system (or at the winery) if one does a little bit of sleuthing, and the 2019 is now available online.
