Toronto Sommelier and entrepreneur Will Predhomme and Ontario wine importer Nicholas Pearce have partnered with NorthWest Wine Co. in Oregon to create this special cuvée.

Based on the Helderberg Mountain in Stellenbosch, Radford Dale specializes in producing site-specific, low intervention wines, made with minimal intervention in order to best express each vineyard’s individuality.
Burgundy-trained, Alex Dale visited South Africa for a guest vintage during his early winemaking years. He fell in love with the beautiful country and eventually moved there to continue his journey of making some of the country’s finest wines – the rest is history.
WINEMAKER’S DINNER WITH BODEGAS VIÑÁTIGO
Join us for a winemaker’s dinner on Tuesday, April 30th at Paris Paris (146 Ossington Ave, Toronto) with Jorge Méndez from Bodegas Viñátigo.
Jorge and his twin sister Celia Méndez will be pouring some extremely special single-vineyard wines grown on the volcanic soils of Tenerife. Expect lots of stunning salty white wines along with an explosive rosé and red, and a rare Pét Nat. An easy going family style dinner will accompany this array of showstopping wines, in Paris Paris’ private dining room.

Juan Jesús Méndez is a proud native of Tenerife and the fourth generation of winegrowers. Driven by passion and love for his homeland, he has overseen Bodegas Viñátigo for almost thirty-five years. He has been studying and recovering the almost-extinct grape varieties that were brought to the Canary Islands by European settlers since the 15th century. He has made Viñátigo a reference winery in the region.
Jorge Méndez is the new generation at the head of the winery. He is slowly taking over the viticulture and winemaking of Viñátigo, and focusing on crafting wines from exceptional micro-vineyards in the north-face of Tenerife. Before settling down in his home-island, Jorge worked alongside Marcelo Retamal in De Martino and Viñedos de Alcohuaz (Chile), Matías Riccitelli in Mendoza, and Pascal Clément in Burgundy.
