Cantina Roccafiore farms 15 hectares of vineyards in the rolling hills of the Umbrian countryside. Since their first vintage in 2005, the Baccarelli family (father and son) have been focused on sustainability in the vineyards and the cellar, using only estate-grown fruit, farming organically and biodynamically, and even utilizing a solar installation to supply the electricity needs of the entire estate.
We love this blend of Sangiovese and Sagrantino for its aromatic elegance that combines ripe red fruit and sweet spice, and the energetic palate that strikes the perfect balance between a round, full mouthfeel and great structure. Enjoy this with mushroom risotto or Osso Bucco.

Domaine Faillenc Sainte Marie is a small property in the Corbières district of the Languedoc. The soil is composed of inhospitable, rocky limestone terraces, with only vines, olive trees, and some scraggly brush able to survive. The small estate boasts a miniscule 1 hectare of vines devoted to white grapes (Roussanne, Macabeu, Bourboulenc and Clairette) and from this tiny parcel of wild terroir comes the Corbieres Blanc Pas des Louves (“path of the she-wolves”).
We love this wine for its compelling minerality, fresh herbal bouquet, and complex savoury character. The 2020 ‘Pas Des Louves’ Blanc is exceptionally versatile with food and works well as a bridge between first and second courses.
