No, it’s not a typo in the title of the post: Victor Barry stars in the new Cottage Life TV show Dining INNvasion premiering tonight, September 5th. Regular GFR readers will recognize Barry as the chef and owner of Splendido, one of Toronto’s very top end fine dining restaurants, whereto one hopes dearly an invitation from someone with a big expense account will come forth. But Barry recently hit the road with co-star and event planner Rebecca Wise to visit out the way rural inns in resort towns like Bobacaygeon and help out in the kitchen. How did the big city chef do in the country? How was it trading foie gras and truffles for burgers and wings? Barry sat down with me to shoot the video below to answer these questions and more.
