What happens when a chef and a sake sommelier host a dinner party? A 6 course dinner specially designed and prepared by Koji Zenimaru, paired by Mariko Tajiri with 6 sakes for an evening of food, booze and stories from their 10 years of friendship and working together across the country in Vancouver and Toronto.
The menu will be full of Kingyo fan favourites, along with new and special items only available on this night. Uni from Hokkaido, wagyu from Japan, it’ll be a decadent and luxurious meal paired with sake from all over Japan.

We both ended up in Toronto and we’re hosting a dinner party with a 6 course menu designed specially for this night with sake paired with each course. I’ve got lots of special sakes planned, starting with the Wind Water Man 風よ水よ人よ, which was the first sake I ever sold to Koji.”
