What with every Chef worth his salt fully embracing Vancouver Aquarium’s Ocean Wise program it was fantastic to see five of this year’s Top Chef Canada contenders reuniting for a night of redemption, each cooking a dish using Ocean Wise approved ingredients at Toronto’s Crush Wine Bar.
General Manager Sarah Lyons played the role of MC and gracious hostess, leading us through a night of great food, great wines, and some serious hilarity.
Three cheers for all involved in what proved to be a fantastic event to increase public awareness of the Ocean Wise program.
Edinburgh-born/Toronto-based Sommelier, consultant, writer, judge, and educator Jamie Drummond is the Director of Programs/Editor of Good Food Revolution… And yes, that young lady did have the loudest voice ever.
