Many of you may have noticed the heightened amount of moustaches making their way around Toronto.  Is this a sudden influx of creepy dudes? NAY! It is MOVEMBER!

Movember (formerly known as November) is dedicated to raising awareness and funds for prostate cancer – which is the most common cancer affecting men after skin cancer.  1 in 7 men will develop prostate cancer – with 470 Canadian men being diagnosed a week!  Movember is not only meant to raise funds to find a cure, but to raise awareness for all men to make appropriate lifestyle changes and to be checked out by their doctors regularly.

Hypenotic, The Bait shop and Mildred’s Temple Kitchen are all joining forces to throw “The Great Canadian Moustache Party”!  Honouring some of the greatest Canadian moustaches of all time – from Riel to Trebek – there will be great tunes, delicious hors d’oeuvres and the chance to score some sweet ‘stache t-shirts and other goodies!  Tickets are $25 – proceeds from the tickets, t-shirts and art sales will be donated to Prostate Cancer Canada.
