Pinot Noir, lovingly shortened to Pinot, can illicit passion, mystery and seduction from just one sniff. Take just one sip of Pinot and you can feel and taste the place that grew the grape. Bright and full of life, it’s no wonder why Pinot Noir is loved by many.
The team at Rosewood Estates Winery is equally passionate and committed to crafting beautiful Pinot Noirs. Sourcing Pinot Noir grapes from their estate property on the Beamsville Bench and the famed Wismer Vineyard on the Twenty Mile Bench, Rosewood Pinot Noirs are handcrafted using the best grapes from the Niagara Escarpment. By sourcing grapes from hand tended vineyards they ensure only the best grapes get bottled.
Time to time when an exceptional vintage comes along, the Rosewood winemaking team decides to naturally ferment their various wines. 2009 produced some beautiful fruit and the team decided to naturally ferment their premium Pinot Noir grapes to make a unique reserve. The 2009 Pinot Noir Reserve was handcrafted using native yeasts found on the grape skins that resulted in a slow and long fermentation. Through this long fermentation the wine evolved naturally producing one of the best Pinot Noir’s Rosewood has ever made. Rarely made this 2009 Pinot Noir Reserve – Natural Fermentation is now available in LCBO Vintages across Ontario.
A winery favourite, the 2009 Pinor Noir Reserve has received some of the highest scores ever with a range from 90 to 93 points. Esteemed Sommeliers from John Szabo to Sara D’Amato to David Lawrawson and Michael Godel agree that this Pinot Noir is unique, expressive and a beautiful addition to your meal or cellar.
This beautiful Pinot Noir Reserve is now available in LCBO Vintages ($39.95 – 318345) across Ontario. It’s yours to discover & share: http://www.lcbo.com/318345.
