If you’re like us, you can never drink too much Bordeaux. That’s why we’re so excited to be hosting Emmanuel Tessandier from Ambrosia for an afternoon of back vintages and boutique Châteaux.
Drop in at Grand Cru Deli on Tuesday, February 25th from 4:00pm-7:00pm for a chance to chat and taste Bordeaux.
Full menu will be available as well as the exciting 2015 Château Plaisance Palues de Plaisance Bordeaux Supérieur, by the glass and bottle.
Bordeaux, the largest fine wine region in the world, can sometimes be hard to navigate. Ruling out the top Châteaux, whose increasing prices often leave the majority of us looking elsewhere for delicious blends, it’s important to note that there’s much more to Bordeaux than meets the eye.
Many of the exceptional Bordeaux wines are crafted by small independent growers, families and farmers who don’t have the means to tackle the market on their own. Enter the négociant. A role that can be described in several ways but is essentially a wine merchant who provides an outlet for the smaller Chateaux to sell and export their wines.
