Upon my recent trip the Languedoc, and visiting the property of Domaine Borie de Maurel, I happened (thanks to the machinations of my friend Robert Eden of Chateau Maris) to bump into Msr. Vincent Pousson
Now, being no stranger to the vinous words, wisdom, and wit of this fascinating gentleman (you should check out his blog), I was thrilled to have an opportunity to taste with him and chat about my recent experiences in the region.
He is a character for sure, and has some pretty bold feelings about what is happening the the Languedoc today… some a letter less orthodox than others, but that is exactly why I enjoy his writing so much.

Edinburgh-born/Toronto-based Sommelier, consultant, writer, judge, and educator Jamie Drummond is the Director of Programs/Editor of Good Food Revolution… And Vincent does remind him of his good friend Fergus Henderson at little… I think it’s the jacket.
