Garage Wine Co was literally started in a garage in 2001, by Etobicoke expat (yes, our Etobicoke) Derek Mossman and his wife Pilar Miranda who makes wines from a series of individual lots. Why ‘215 BC Ferment’? We are glad you asked. The País grape was cultivated in the region 215 years before Cabernet Sauvignon was documented for the first time, which inspired the name. The wine is fresh and clean. It is soft, floral, slightly rustic and carries a special finesse. Perfect to sip on its own. Serve it a bit chilled to quench your thirst, or pair with a simple meal with meats and cheeses.
