Never-ending street construction is taking it’s toll on the east end so the east enders have decided to flip it the bird. On Wednesday, July 16th at Hi-Lo, Well Preserved is holding a special Home Ec eveng in which they’ll be selling raffle tickets and holding a silent auction. 100% of raffle proceeds are being donated to a local charity, The Red Door which is a shelter in Riverside. Tickets will start selling from 7:00PM onwards and winners will start being drawn from 8:00PM onwards. Raffle prizes will consist of small to large prizes, supporting local businesses in the area; each prize will be redeemable from July 17th – August 4th. Prizes will range from a free pint of beer, a $30 bar tab to Hi-Lo, apps and mains from Table 17 and Ascari Enoteca and more. Left Field Brewery will also be attending and bringing a keg with them – it’s the first time you’ll be able to have Left Field on tap at Hi-Lo! Come out and help spread the word.
The prizes are all incentives to come out and support our neighborhood in the toughest construction season we’ve faced in recent memory.
