In the ninth of our burgeoning Old Hands series we probe the memories and minds of some of the founding fathers/mothers and original influencers of Toronto’s restaurant scene.
This episode sees us switch interview format from text to video in an effort to capture the wit, wisdom, and mirth of a man who has quite the history when it comes to hospitality in our city : Mister John Maxwell.
After a three year wait we are delighted to say that we finally managed to pin down this veritable force of nature for a couple of pints at his wonderful Irish pub, Dora Keogh on The Danforth.
Due to the wealth of knowledge and history that this gentleman has to share, we have decided to present this in an extended interview format.
