Pierre Sparr Pinot Gris Grande Reserve 2018

Yellow gold colour. Reveals aromas of fruits, apricots, peach and a complex nose. With some air, notes of juicy apricots follow accompanied by mineral notes. This is also evident In the mouth, as well softly and minerally with a delicate sweetness-acid-relation, a fancy minerality and a firm racy body. This drinking pleasure is crowned by a little bit smoky – spicy aftertaste – a wine for lovers of a clear smooth Pinot Gris with charm.

The 2017 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is a dense yet expressive wine. Deep ruby red in colour, the wine boasts notes of cherries, cassis and chamomile. Flavours of lavender, herbal tea, vanilla and rose petals build up the structure through the midpalate. The long, lingering finish of espresso, mocha and sage culminates in a striking richness. The wine is drinking wonderfully right now and will continue to develop further nuances with cellar age.
