A mild and humid vintage allowed these grapes to slowly ripen to perfection in the vineyards of Rioja Alta. Carefully aged in new oak for 14 months, the result is a full-bodied delivery of red berries and black plum, liquorice, and balsamic notes, highlighted by oak spices and velvety tannins. Sustainably made and suitable for vegans, this will pair up with red meats off the grill, braised dishes, or Spanish classics like paella, jamon, or Manchego cheese.
