Luca Vitiello, who gave me and GFR readers a primer on Brunello a couple of years ago, was recently back in Toronto promoting the wines of his employer, Tenuta Fanti. In the video below, Vitiello describes the conditions which have produced the Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG 2007, the first reserve wine from Fanti in many years. He also touches Fanti products now available in Ontario through the Le Sommelier agency, including their tiny production vin santo.
