I think that Msr. Nicolas Potel has to be one of my favourite people in the world of wine; not only does he make some truly smashing wines all over Burgundy, but he is a terrific fellow in every which way.
I class him way up there in the Premier League of funtimes alongside living legends Chef Fergus Henderson, Trevor Gulliver, and Olimax. A great night out with Nicolas (or indeed any of those chaps) traditionally involves around a week of recovery time, but it’s always well worth it.
All that most enjoyable debauchery aside, last weekend I caught up with Nicolas through the wonders of technology to talk COVID-19 and wine.
