Hungarian winemaker Robert Gilvesy gives us his take on the ongoing pandemic and how it has affected things in his parcel of the wine world.

I last interviewed winemaker Robert Gilvesy away back in the summer of 2013, and so it was wonderful to see him for a Zoom chat earlier this week and discover how he has been weathering the COVID-19 storm over in rural Hungary.

Robert tells us of the various ways in which the pandemic has impacted the day-to-day goings on at his winery, and his worries about permanently losing his sense of smell and taste during a (thankfully) mild bout of the virus. earlier this year.
