Toronto Restaurateur Nav Sangha explains his Ambassador platform, a kind-of Shopify for restaurants in these most turbulent of times with the COVID-19 pandemic.
Sick and tired of restaurants getting utterly shafted by third-party delivery services, especially during the current pandemic, Toronto’s Nav Sangha has been working on a web-based platform that allows independent restaurants to self-manage their online orders and delivery, and what’s more, he’s offering it all for free to establishments in Toronto for the duration of the crisis.
We sat down with him for an extended chat about Ambassador, the impact of the pandemic upon his personal and business life, and his thoughts about the way in which the Canadian government have been handling things.
