What with my usual annual Languedoc trips being on hold for what looks like the foreseeable future, it’s been some time since I last encountered Vigneron Gérard Bertrand.
With this in mind, it was an absolute delight to connect with him over a Zoom call and discuss how things are going down in the southwest of France, truly one of my favourite parts of the world.
As is the case all around the globe, the pandemic comes with its unique sets of challenges, but Gérard’s positive attitude certainly raised my spirits, and I’m wholly intrigued as to the contents of his upcoming new book…
