This week sees us cosy up (virtually) with our old pal Ruud Maasdam, winemaker at Staete Landt, Marlborough New Zealand.
Ruud talks openly of the challenges that he’s been facing due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and how restrictions changed so many factors of the 2020 Marlborough harvest.
Staete Landt’s “Duchess” Sauvignon Blanc and “State Of Grace” Pinot Noir will be available in Ontario through the LCBO in 2021, while Ruud’s “Annabel” Sauvignon Blanc and Map Maker Pinot and Sauvignon Blanc are available year round through the Lifford consignment program.
