The wines of the Anima Lavica line are produced from vineyards cultivated on the outcrops of volcanic rocks that burst from the Phlegraean volcanoes more than thirty thousand years ago, in the tremendous Campania Ignimbrite eruption. “Expressive aromas of banana, candy, apple, pear, melon and jasmine. 2021 Palmento Costanzo ‘Mofete’ Bianco Etna Bianco DOC
This blend of 70% Carricante and 30% Catarratto is an excellent showcase of Etna’s volcanic terroir. The bouquet has aromas of almond paste, peach skins and mediterranean herbs. This is round with a ripe, juicy fruit quality tempered by lime-tinged acidity that keeps the drives the palate forward. It leaves a crisp minerality supported by soft white florals.

2021 Valdibella ‘Munir’ Terre Siciliane IGT
This certiftied organic wine comes from a small co-op in Sicily farming not just grapes but almonds, olives, cereals, legumes, fruits and vegetables near Palermo. This wine is 100% Catarratto that undergoes an extending 20 day fermentation in stainless steel tanks. On the nose, fruity aromas of wildflowers, peach, quince, and pear. It’s a well-structured wine with flavours of citrus, apple, pear, and a lingering pleasant minerality.
