On August 15, legendary Toronto food writer, journalist and cookbook author Marion Kane will release a series of podcasts on her eponymous website. August 15 is the centenary of Julia Child’s birth, and Kane has produced a comprehensive audio ode to her late friend. In the video below, conducted at her home where she showed me her archive of correspondence and photos, Kane speaks about how she met Child, what it was like to be around her and gives Good Food Revolution viewers a sneak peek at what’s in the podcasts.

So much fun as we approach August 15th……Long Live Julia ! I too will be sharing my Julia memories. My 1978 lunch with Julia in her Cambridge, Mass kitchen launched me as a food writer and altered the course of my life forever. Bravo JC…..and Happy 100th !
Marion Kane is a national treasure. She is the original Canadian foodie!
Great storytelling about a legend. Thanks Marion and I look forward to checking out your podcast.
