Was just in SA..Alex Dale is right Old Vines Chenin is unbelievable (Beaumont, Radford Dale, Anthonij Rupert). Some fantastic Burgundian style Chardonnay (especially 09 Chamonix Reserve, 09 Hamilton Russell), good Cape Classique sparklers and occasionally some good Pinot + just about anything made by the crazy folks at Springfield Estate in Robertson. SA had to be on any foodie/wine lovers bucket list. The quality of the restaurants is unbelievable; especially in Franschoek (Quartier Francais, Reubens, Perneef La Motte and less well known but pretty decent little restaurant (Ryan’s kitchen).
