This month Winemaker Shauna White explains why she loves the first release of our Estate Pét-Nat, available here.
Appearance:
Bright straw with murky yellow hue and lots of bubbles!
Aroma:
Fresh and fruit driven with notes of biscuit and lees. Lemon rind, lime, green
apple, and Bartlett pear. Yeasty, leesy notes of sourdough bread follow.
Palate:
This is a crisp and refreshing wine with flavours on the palate that match the
aromas. Green apple, crisp pear, lemon and lime rind follow. The mid-palate is layered with citrus fruit, Bartlett pear skin, grapefruit pith and rind, along with leesy complexity. A fun and fresh styled L’acadie Blanc showcasing a backbone of acidity, refreshing fruit flavours and a medium, dry, clean finish.
