Over the past couple of months, I’ve been quite excited by the wines of Santa Rita’s Floresta project, notably the Chardonnay and the Carmenérè.
With this in mind, I sought out a chat with Floresta winemaker Terestita Orvalle, and thankfully, she was open to discussing her wines in an extended interview.
In Part Two, we discuss the winemaking behind her Carmenérè, and then talk about the three Floresta wines not yet available in the Ontario market; fingers crossed we’ll see them sometime soon!
