Edinburgh-born/Toronto-based Sommelier, consultant, writer, judge, and educator Jamie Drummond is the Director of Programs/Editor of Good Food Revolution… And he’ll be extremely happy if he can get this liveblog thingy working.
Jermann PG in LCBO for $35. Also coop producer Tramin from AA for $18 makes a very gris-ish PG (with 20% barrique)
Re: Trebbiano
Really depends on which Trebbiano you’re talking about.
Trebbiano di Soave, Valtenesi, and di Lugana are identical to Verdicchio, but Jancis/Julia/José list 6 other distinct Trebbiano varieties like d’Abruzzo and also Toscano, which is the most widespread of them all.
He was talking about Trebbiano di Soave. Sorry, I should have said that.
