Over the past decade and a half or so, we have witnessed a growing number of wine co-operatives producing some truly excellent wines. Leading the pack in Alto Adige’s Trentino is Cantina Kurtatsch, who make some of most highly acclaimed wines of the region. Founded in 1900, working with 190 growers owners, and farming 190 hectares, there’s a lot of history here.

We spoke with Cantina Kurtatsch‘s Harald Cronst in an attempt to discover the secrets of their successes.
