So it’s that time of year again and we are quite sure that you are already sick fed up of all that omnipresent sickly Holiday/Xmas music pumping from storefronts, muzaking in hotel lobbies, leaking tinnily from TTC passengers’ earbuds, and farting out of taxi drivers’ blown-out speakers.
Well, we here at Good Food Revolution have been hard at work coming up with just the thing for your ears this week…
After some painstaking curation we have assembled a mighty seven hours plus of leftfield Holiday/Xmas music to get you right into the spirit of the season.
That’s correct… one can stream over seven and a half solid hours (that’s 100 tasty tracks!) of back-to-back alternative Xmas music as one trusses up the turkey, roasts the goose, bakes the plum pudding, and pulls a few crackers.
The music ranges from the sublime to the ridiculous, all with a slightly different take on the Xmas theme.
From Shoegazy Pop, through Scottish rap and Dub Reggae, to a Gabba version of Jingle Bells… from astoundingly noodley Prog Rock takes on Xmas classics, through Italo Disco, all the way through to some of the oddest renditions of Silent Night you have ever heard… oh, and we have thrown in a few tracks that aren’t really Xmas-y per se, but tend to remind us of the festive season.
All the very best of the Season to all our Good Food Revolution readers!
