Pam Pridham at her new Dish Cooking Studio in Little Italy, College Street, Toronto.

Back in the early years of Good Food Revolution, Pam Pridham’s Dish Cooking Studio way up on Dupont became one of our very first Good Food Fighters (read: invited sponsors), with us shooting a video profile on them way back in 2011. Thanks to their support we were able to develop our website into the GFR you see in front of you today.

Recently Pam and her husband Gord moved locations to a smashing new spot down in College Street’s Little Italy. Whilst their previous location certainly had its charms (they shared the undeniably cute space with another business), the new Dish on College is so much more conducive to their unique style of educational culinary programming and retail.

Taking over the shell of a former nightclub, Dish have transformed the dark, cavernous, connected rooms into a bright, airy, expansive space that suits their gastronomic endeavours to a T. As they settle into to their new digs and get to know their new neighbours, Dish are hosting an “open house” on Saturday March 26th, the day before Easter Sunday, with all manner of fun things going on. I’ll be there with my little boy for the Easter Egg painting!

We sat down with Dish’s Fearless Leader, Pam Pridham for a game of catch-up.
