The Niagara River VQA sub-appellation is remarkable for how well it’s suited to the later-ripening Bordeaux grapes. Two Sisters Vineyards’ full-bodied wines from these have won acclaim for their signature silky tannins, concentrated fruit and overall balance. Winemaker Adam Pearce sat down with Good Food Revolution to discuss how this unique place influenced his approach to Cabernet Franc. The 2014 took platinum at last year’s National Wine Awards of Canada, and is close to be sold out at the winery tasting room.
