Malcolm Jolley is impressed with a young chef’s pandemic initiative…
About a decade ago, in the first wave of YouTube stars, a group of young men from Montreal put together a kind of cooking show called Epic Meal Time. Among their more popular episodes was one that featured a ‘Fast Food Lasagne’ made up of mostly hamburgers from the bigger quick service chains. Fast forward to the last long weekend when I found my wife chuckling while looking at her phone. She explained that our friend Jody had sent her the video below of his son, Andrew, and him making their own pandemic project version of Fast Food Lasagne, taking it to a whole other level. I asked him if I could share it on GFR, and then I got Andrew and Jody to walk us through their evil genius process. WARNING: Contains scenes of extreme culinary content.
