Toronto-based Rocco Giardullo shows off his Vinovation o2 wine aeration device.

At the tail end of last year I was invited to consult on the development of a wine aeration appliance called the Vinovation o2.

Having experimented with many such gadgets over the course of the past three decades, I was both curious and sceptical, however after studying its effects upon bolder, full-bodied red wines I have to say that I was rather impressed.

Toronto-based Inventor/Entrepreneur Rocco Giardullo has spent much of the past four years developing his device, and finally sees his very first shipment of the Vinovation o2 arrive in the coming months to coincide with his Kickstarter initiative.

We recently met up with him at his Brampton home to discuss the product, from its inception to his hopes for its future.
