Last week we sat down for a virtual chat with vigneronne Jill Boutros of Lebanese house Chateau Belle-Vue.
Located in Bhamdoun, Mount Lebanon, Chateau Belle-Vue was established by Jill and her husband in 1999, and since then they have been producing exquisitely crafted wines, predominantly from the Bordeaux varieties, grown in vineyards abandoned since the conflict running from the mid 70s until 1990.
In Part Two of this extended two-part interview, we discuss the evolution of the winery over the last two decades.
