Delicious Stratford Stroll, is a one day tasting event launching the third annual Delicious Stratford, a month long spring food festival offering fixed price, seasonal menus using local products from some of the city’s finest restaurants. It takes place on Sunday May 1st .

The Delicious Stratford Stroll will showcase six restaurants on a dynamic walking tour led by local culinary experts.  Restaurants will offer a sampling of hors d’oeuvres paired with VQA wine or craft beer.  Delicious Stroll samples celebrate spring with local Perth County products and provide a sneak peak of the restaurants’ Delicious Stratford summer menus.  Participating restaurants in the Delicious Stratford Stroll include Bijou, Down the Street Bar and Restaurant, The Parlour Restaurant, René’s Bistro, Simple. Fish and Chips and The Sun Room Restaurant.  Tickets are $45.00 (+HST) per person, with proceeds benefiting the Community Hot Meal Programme at Stratford Northwestern Secondary School.

“Last year’s Delicious Stratford Stroll raised over $4,000, contributing critical funding to this important organization thanks to the generosity of participating restaurants and participants,” states Cathy Rehberg, STA Marketing Manager. “We’re excited to offer it again this year and participants are sure to have an amazing Sunday afternoon.

Delicious Stratford features 10 restaurants offering three-course fixed priced seasonal menus from $20 for lunch and $35 for dinner.  The campaign gives diners the opportunity to preview restaurants before the season is in full swing.
