Viticulturalist Deborah Paskus, one of Canada’s foremost winemakers and one of people who helped put Ontario wine on the international radar retired from Closson Chase, the winery she helped found and is still a partner in, at the beginning of January.
Deborah’s passion for making world-class wines with Ontario grapes earned her many accolades.
All of us at Closson Chase appreciate the long service and important contributions Deborah has made in helping create a world class winery. We wish “Canada’s Chardonnay Diva” every success in her future endeavours. Her legacy for making memorable rich layered Chardonnays will not soon be forgotten.
