This week we headed over to the offices of Le Sommelier in Liberty Village to chat with Frank Benicasa from esteemed Chianti house Lanciola. Lanciola’s wines have been receiving some rather favourable reviews and scores from both the US and UK wine press as of late, and so we thought it would be fun to speak to Frank about what makes the Chiantis from the hills surrounding the city Florence so different from those of Chianti Classico and the other six defined Chianti sub zones.
