Gilead is the headquarters and production kitchen of Jamie Kennedy Kitchens. We are located in Corktown, just north of the Distillery District. At Jamie Kennedy Kitchens we continue our exploration of excellence in locally sourced gastronomy. Our best expression of this is through our special programmed events. We are expanding this aspect of our business by re-launching Gilead by night as a special event venue. We will be publishing a calendar to list upcoming events, and our Event Catering department will formally add Gilead to our venue portfolio.
Friday June 15th marks the beginning of a new era for evenings at Gilead. “Bar Gilead” is the first of a series of Friday evenings at Gilead where we will explore tapas and cocktail culture. On other evenings we will be offering programming such as “Cooking for Cooks” and “Dinner Jazz” featuring live jazz music. Continuing as part of our programming will be “the Local Food Movement Dinner Series” featuring local food artisans and winemakers. In order to facilitate this new programming as well as encourage private bookings at Gilead, we will be discontinuing regular bistro dinner service. Saturday June 9th will be our last à la carte dinner service at Gilead Bistro. Please consult our website for our upcoming calendar of events to be held at Gilead.
