Ever wonder how and where the Terroni restaurants find their unique line-up of Italian artisanal wines? I did, and when I asked they refered me to their main importing agency, Cavinona, and more specifically its manager, Gianna Sami. Sami explains, in the video below that although Cavinona is an independent and separate business, the only restaurants it sells wine to are the ones in the Terroni family, so their selections are tailored to those menus. They also increasingly sell directly to consumers, through their website; more often or not its a Terroni customer who enjoys a glass of something at Bar Centrale, or La Bettola and would like a case for herself.
