Ann Thrupp PhD is the Manager of Sustainability and Organic Development at Fetzer Vineyards, in Mendocino County, California. The former sustainability and environmental academic became interested in the winery, which was originally founded as a biodynamic farm in the 1950’s, after using it as a case study. Now she constantly seeks to green their business practices, while maintaining healthy revenues.
After years of operating behind the scenes, Thrupp is engaged in pre-Earth Day tour to highlight Fetzer’s commitment to environmentally responsible practices, which she outlined to me in the video below.
