The vineyards of Vallepicciola are nestled in the hills and valleys of southern Chianti Classico, in the Castelnuovo Berardenga sub-region. Made from 100% estate-grown grapes, the Vallepicciola Chianti Classico shows dense and lively notes of cherry, forest berry, plum, violet, and spices. It goes perfectly with charcuterie and medium-aged cheeses, as well as with pasta courses with Tuscan meat sauce or very good pizza. Exceptionally balanced and ready to enjoy now or age, the 2021 vintage is an impressive effort and has been recognized as such by Wine Spectator magazine with a #37 ranking in their Top 100 Wines of 2024!
