Amy Rosen is one Canada’s most prolific and accomplished food (and travel) writers. She’s also the Food Editor at Canadian House and Home where she oversees the presentation of recipes which match the magazine’s eye for aesthetic excellence and tracks culinary trends from coast to coast. Amy Rosen is also the author two successful cookbooks: Generation Eats (1997) and Eat This (2004), as well as a book on international spas: SPAtopia (2004). This fall she will publish her first novel, which she says draws inspiration from her culinary life: Indigestion. As if this all weren’t enough, she is also a rather popular blogger, posting from the field at The National Nosh. I caught up with Amy, who I consider a friend, to shoot the video below on The Drake Hotel’s Sky Yard on a recent sunny Monday morning to ask her how she shaped her career as a successful food writer, journalist, author and editor.
