Ciù Ciù’s Paolo Agostinelli tells us all about the trials and tribulations of going organic in Italy’s Marche region.

Once upon a time, Italy’s Marche region was only interested in one thing when it came to wine production, and that was volume, at whatever cost. Industrial chemical herbicides, pesticides, and fertilisers were the norm.

Looking at the Marche today, for so many grape growers and producers things have changed dramatically. One of the houses that made the change to organic viticulture were Ciù Ciù. We sat own with Paolo Agostinelli to find our a bit more about this transition.
