Kamptal winemaker Fred Loimer (looking very pensive here) takes us through his Kamptal Grüner and two special single vineyard wines.
In the second part of an in-depth tasting with winemaker Fred Loimer of Kamptal’s Weingut Loimer, we taste his 2019 Kamptal Grüner Veltliner, and the rather special single vineyard 2017s, Käferberg (Grüner) and Steinmassl (Riesling).
The 2019 Kamptal Grüner is currently available through Le Sommelier at $23.95 a bottle, and will be released through LCBO Vintages on October 30th.
Both single vineyard wines are available through Le Sommelier as Private Orders… which takes a bit longer to get here, but I can assure you that they are both well worth your trouble.
