By 13th Street Winery, a certified “Good Food Fighter”
On Thursday, June 14, 2012 sixty five privileged diners will partake in an evening of international cool climate chardonnay masterfully paired to fine French cuisine prepared by none other, the virtuoso of veau, the champion of champignon, the doyen of duxelles, Chef Didier Leroy. Winemakers Norman Hardie, Thomas Bachelder and Francois Morissette will all be on hand to discuss the great white grape and in addition to top wines from their own estates will pour and speak to fine wines from France, South Africa, British Columbia and Austria.
Following a special Blanc de Blancs sparkling reception and brief welcoming remarks, diners will be ushered into the luxurious surroundings of the main dining room at Restaurant Didier on Yonge Street in Toronto for a scrumptious five-course feast. The full menu is as follows:
