“Aged to near optimum drinkability, this elegant Lalande de Pomerol showcases the quality and balance of the excellent 2019 vintage. Nicely poised with notes of tomato leaf, rosemary, rosebud, ripe red cherry, licorice and worn leather are both complex and complimentary. The tannins have mellowed considerably yet still offer a pleasant modicum of grip. Graphite and blackberry with some gentle wood spice linger on the finish of excellent length. Best now to 2026.
