In conversation with winemaker Teresita Ovalle, Floresta (Santa Rita), Chile – Part 1

Over the past month or so, I’ve been quite excited by the wines of Santa Rita’s Floresta project, notably the Chardonnay and the Carmenérè.

With this in mind, I sought out a chat with Floresta winemaker Terestita Orvalle, and thankfully, she was open to discussing her wines in an extended interview.

In Part One, we discuss her attraction to the Floresta project and the two wines available in our market.
