Situated on a steep slope and sheltered location, the epic vineyards of Blanchot experience slow ripening and a harvest that starts well after its famed neighbour, Les Clos. This results in wines that are more eloquent and austere, with a floral aromatic strength and an evanescent minerality that make them the perfect choice for Chablis wine enthusiasts.
Louis Moreau’s Grand Cru Blanchot is a generous Chablis with tantalizing notes of ripe citrus, mushrooms, and lemon blossom. The palate is round and powerful, with hints of white flowers.

About Louis Moreau
The Moreau family has been settled in the heart of Chablis since 1884. Louis Moreau, the sixth generation, studied oenology and viticulture in California and took over from his father when he returned to France in 1994. Today, his vineyards extend all over the four levels of the appellation: Petit Chablis, Chablis, Premier Cru and Grand Cru.
