At Cloudsley our Single Vineyard program was designed to showcase the unique terroir of the fantastic vineyards with which we work. Niagara’s cool climate and the limestone soils found in the Twenty Mile Bench create an environment ideally suited to making classic, elegant Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays. When all the conditions are right we are able to create wines that showcase the characteristics that make these exceptional single vineyards so special. We only release these wines in years when the expression of the individual vineyards is of the highest quality. As a limited release, we are offering six wines, including the 2015 Glen Elgin and Homestead Pinot Noirs from the library vaults, so that you can explore the incredible differences that time and place can make to a wine.

This Pinot Noir comes from the Wismer family’s Homestead Vineyard. This excellent
site was planted in 1999 and 2002 with clones 777 and 115. Wild Yeast Fermentation. 18 months in French oak (33% new).
1 bottle of 2015 Glen Elgin Vineyard Pinot Noir
1 bottle of 2017 Glen Elgin Vineyard Pinot Noir
This Pinot Noir comes from the Wismer family’s Glen Elgin Vineyard. This supurb site was planted in 1996 with clone 115. Wild Yeast Fermentation. 18 months in French oak (33% new).
1 bottle of 2017 Wingfield Vineyard Chardonnay
This Chardonnay comes from the Wismer family’s Wingfield Vineyard. This excellent vineyard site was planted in 1993 with clone 76. Wild Yeast, barrel fermented. 18 months in French oak (25% new).
1 bottle of 2017 Foxcroft Vineyard Chardonnay
This Chardonnay comes from the Wismer family’s Foxcroft Vineyard. This special vineyard was planted in 1996 with clone 96. Wild Yeast, barrel fermented. 18 months in French oak.
