Lately I have been getting quite excited about certain Chardonnays coming out of some of the cooler areas of California.
Just the other week I had the opportunity to taste through the range of Liquid Farm, based in the Santa Rita Hills, and was so impressed with the way they elegantly combined the inherent vibrancy of cool climate Chardonnay with the unmistakable ripeness of The Golden State.
After the tasting I sat down with Liquid Farm’s Jeff Nelson to discuss what sets their wines apart from the rest of the pack.
